God: We believe there is only one God, eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus: We believe Jesus came as fully God and fully man in one person. He voluntarily gave His life on the cross to pay for the sin of all mankind and was raised from death three days later.
Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit is the eternal third person of the Godhead. He indwells every believer and incorporates them into the body of Christ, teaching and guiding them to a life of obedience to God. We believe the filling and empowering of the Spirit enables effective ministry, and we welcome His working within and through us in the exercising of all biblical gifts.
Bible: We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and revelation to mankind, divinely trustworthy, and is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
Church: We believe the church is the body of Christ and is comprised of all those who belong to Him regardless of denominational affiliation. We believe each believer has been entrusted with the gifts and responsibility of helping to build up the body of Christ and advance the Kingdom of God. Each person is a minister of Jesus Christ and has their part to play. The effectiveness of the church will be determined by the commitment and faithfulness of the people who comprise it.
Baptism: We believe baptism is an obedient response of commitment and faith in Christ Jesus in which a believer is fully immersed in water, symbolically portraying and spiritually uniting him/her in the historical death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
